Android Auto is updated almost weekly, although sometimes we’re hard pressed to know what’s changed with the new version, as Google usually enables server-side changes. Then the doubts of knowing whether you have the latest version installed or notbecause the update can sometimes take time to arrive via Google Play.
If you want to know what version of Android Auto do you have installed on your mobile, you have two ways to do it. You can check Android Auto’s version like any other app, as well as the ability to do so from Android Auto’s own settings.
From application information
Android Auto is an app like any other, although it usually no longer appears in the app drawer. However, you can still see the version of Android Auto check app versionsomething you can do with any application.
There are several ways to do this. One of the fastest requires you to have a shortcut to Android Auto, where you’ll need to long press to open context menu where it is normal for the app info option to appear. If you don’t have this shortcut, you’ll have to do it the traditional way, which is a little longer. You need to go to Android settings and enter in the section Apps. You can also find out which version of Android Auto you have, from Android Auto. The result is exactly the same as with the previous method, although it has the advantage of being able to obtain some additional information about other applications and services related to Android Auto.
All you have to do is open Android Auto settings on your mobile and scroll down to the bottom, where you will see the version. Tapping on it brings up the panel with more related data.
