Probably based on all these controversies, Google wants to nip the problem in the bud, for which they need to cover one of the main places where this malware sneaks in: APIs. For this reason, the company with the capital ‘G’ today released a preview of Advanced API Securityfocused specifically on detecting threats from the apps’ own APIs.
