In December 2020, the music streaming service Apple Music achieved speakers and smart displays compatible with the google assistantbut so far, this integration was only available in the United States, Canada, Mexico, United Kingdom, France, Germany, Australia, South Korea, and Japan.
After more than a year and a half of waiting, finally the integration of Apple Music with Google Assistant arrives in Spainso now we can listen to music from Apple’s streaming service from our speakers and smart displays.
Apple Music on the Google Assistant
This means that we will no longer need to use our mobile to send music from Apple Music to our Google Assistant compatible speakers or displays. Now with voice commands we can ask the Google assistant to play our favorite music from Apple Music.
For this we must link our Apple Music account to the Google Assistant from the settings of Google Home or Google Assistant settings. A quick way to access Google settings is to turn on Google Assistant and say “open assistant settings”.

In the Assistant or Google Home settings, we must enter the section of Music and click on Apple Music. In the pop-up window, click account link so that we can connect and complete the linking of the two services by following the steps that will appear on the screen. An Apple Music subscription will be required to be able to listen to your music, it does not have a free version.
