In December 2020 the streaming music service Apple Music reached speakers and smart displays compatible with the google assistantbut until now this integration was only available in the United States, Canada, Mexico, United Kingdom, France, Germany, Australia, South Korea and Japan.
After more than a year and a half of waiting, finally the integration of Apple Music with the Google Assistant arrives in Spainso we can now listen to music from Apple’s streaming service from our speakers and smart screens.
Apple Music on the Google Assistant
This means that we will no longer have to use our mobile to send music from Apple Music to our speakers or screens compatible with the Google Assistant. Now with voice commands we can ask the Google Assistant to play our favorite music from Apple Music.
For this we have to link our Apple Music account with the Google Assistant from the settings of Google Home or Google Assistant settings. A quick way to get to Google settings is to turn on Google Assistant and say “open Assistant settings”.

In the Assistant or Google Home settings we have to enter the section of Music and click on Apple Music. In the pop-up window, click on link account so that we can log in and complete the linking of both services by following the steps that will be shown on the screen. An Apple Music subscription will be required to be able to listen to your music, it does not have a free version.
